SMARTS offers free PK-12 classes in visual art, music, dance, theater, and creative writing in the fall, spring, and summer—so creativity never takes a season off! Classes are held in person after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Saturdays at SMARTS’ vibrant home on the first floor of the historic Ohio One Building in downtown Youngstown. SMARTS is launching its 2026 Spring Into Action Campaign to spark imagination, inspire young artists, and make quality arts education available for everyone.
